Notary Rules

Depending on which state you wish to practice being a Notary Public will determine what rules and regulations that apply to that state,  to become a Notary Public you may need to pay a bond of $500 up to &10,000  once again depending on which state.  In some states you may be able to Notorise your spouse and family members and others notaries.  Being found guilty of a crime may prevent you from obtaining a license or may cancel an existing license, it really pays to check with your Secretary of State to find out all the rules governing the application and obtaining your Notary Public license.
